When I go on my travels I try to write a journal to remind me of the things I've seen and done - some of my journals have been lost over the years, but the ones that have survived I'm going to reproduce here. The tense of the journals moves around - this is because sometimes I write it at the end of the day, sometimes while things are happening - I reproduce them here as they were written.
